We are a small kennels established in the 90’s. Our priority is the health and well-being of all our animals. We were brought up with animals around us and as a child always watched Belle and Sebastian as I would say most of my era did and always wanted to own my own Pyrenean; never believing we would own so many. I started off as a child with poodles, as I got older Ess came into our family as well as golden retrievers. My husband worked in Spain for a while and every morning on his way to work he was greeted by a PMD, this dog got so used to him that it would wait for him every morning for his treats.
Our first PMD was from the Shiresoaks, Shiresoak Aderline (Freen) from Pat Bayliss; Freen was bought as a pet, but we decided to show her. That was it! One is never enough, so we looked around for our second from Hilda and Eric Carlin, the Rosemere kennels, Rosemere Tamara (Glayva). Then came our third from the same kennel, Rosemere Uszula (Yaffo) and it went from there. We moved house in 1997 to accommodate our dogs, then in 2007 I became ill and had to stop showing for a while, but I was determined my illness wasn’t going to stop me doing what I love so much. We went to the Penellcy kennels where we bought Penellcy Shining Knight at Mizeka (Finley). Our next was from the well regarded Kalkasi kennels where we had Kalkasi Destiny’s Spirit at Mizeka (Keeley). Then we had the opportunity to get Kalkasi Misty Magic at Mizeka (Scarlett), our lastest!
We breed occasionally, health and temperament are paramount, all our dogs are happy, healthy animals and spend time with us in our home. We currently have eight PMDs, two Westies (rescues), one Scottie (rescue), one black lab (rescue) and a chihuahua. Plus five horses, 6 parrots, eight tortoises and cats, ducks, swans, geese and chickens, etc.
